OUR FOOD PHILOSOPHY

We know that Sails on the bay ticks all the boxes when it comes to Melbourne beach front dining. But what we think makes it one of Melbourne’s best beachside restaurants is the passion that co-owner and Executive Chef Derek Fuller brings to each and every menu he creates.
We develop our seasonally inspired dishes using the freshest local ingredients and polished cooking techniques that only 40 years of experience can bring to the kitchen.

Our highly qualified chefs aim to take you on a decadent journey – from delicate appetisers to flavoursome mains, and desserts that rival the sunset views for attention.

A SETTING LIKE NO OTHER

Our Elwood restaurant sits just 1 metre from the golden sands of Elwood Beach and offers 180 degree views of the surrounding water. You’ll feel like you’re on holidays as you stare out at the boats or the sun dipping below the horizon.
